My Project
I teach 6th grade in a Title 1 low-income, high-poverty school district. We have a lot of unconventional students who are being raised in 3rd-generation grandparents, foster care, and single-parent homes. I would like to help my students feel comfortable when entering the room for the year by having the supplies they need to learn, grow, collaborate, and achieve during the school year.
These supplies are essential to store and organize a productive learning environment, creating an engaging classroom, which is for a clean and safe learning environment.
My students have enough struggles in life, so their learning environment doesn’t need to be a worry to them.
