My Project
The use of all types of materials is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math, reading, writing, science and art. Using all types of
Materials helps my students to use all things they have in their academic toolbox.
The art materials allow me to use creativity inside the classroom and bring art back into our classroom. When something goes awry, students know that they must use a different approach in solving whatever problem has occurred. I also want to be able to celebrate my students in academic success and special events. I want each to student to feel special during the school year.
The goodie bag items will allow me to celebrate birthdays and achievements with my students. I always try to make them feel special on their special days and allow them to feel proud of their accomplishments.
The desk will allow me to have all of my materials near me while also providing an area to teach small groups. Our classroom is already a small space so by combining my teacher desk and small group table I am able to give my students more room to learn in.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement by letting them be creative and collaborative.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not.
