My Project

Having a calming corner in the classroom is essential for students to have a designated safe space to utilize social emotional and sensory items that will help them manage their emotions and stress. Students can reduce their stress and anxiety by practicing self regulation skills like deep breathing. My goal with this project is to foster a sense of belonging and trust within my students by showing them they are supported and that their emotional needs are valued and acknowledged.

By donating to our project, you will give my students the opportunity to take control of their social emotional learning by practicing their self regulation skills.

Once this happens students are able to return to their learning environment with focus and emotional balance.
