Creating Young Scientists Through STEM Competition!

My Project
6th through 8th grade students at my school will be competing in the Maryland Science Olympiad Competition this year. This after school STEM program aims to expose students to science and engineering careers, prepare them for high school and bump up their investigation skills. To be able to compete we need to provide supplies to bring on our competition days. This means we need storage bins and some basic materials for building towers, windmills, rollercoasters, and more!
My goal for this project is to be able to allow our students to participate in competition with wealthier schools by having the resources they need to succeed.
My students will not only survive the first round of this competition, they will thrive!
In the past they have medalled and even won first place with only the most basic supplies. With these additional storage items we can take our achievements to the next level.
