This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Along with the unique gifts our students have to offer they come to our program with a variety of special needs including Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, language and cognitive delays, motor disabilities and other health impairments.

We are a title I school, which means most of our students come from a low socio-economic background and these families qualify for free lunches.

Many lack basic basic school supplies. We'd like to provide our preschoolers with the materials they need during distance learning to engage in hands on learning activities.

My Project

Our students learn best with a variety of hands on learning activities. However, many of our students lack basic art supplies at home during remote learning. The paint and markers will a provide our students with the opportunity to learn to create representational art. The glue will allow students to create collages which help develop their fine motor skills.

These art supplies will allow our students to create, engage and explore while developing their emergent writing and find motor skills.

Your thoughtful donation will provide our youngest students this opportunity.
