This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my elementary music class, we create every day. We create music, movement and patterns. We use our creativity to add, revise, refine and collaborate though music composition and improvisation. Many times we do this in our heads, or together on the board. But for individual, partner or small group work, we need something more individual and portable.

In a classrooms without desks or tables, the students in the music room need flexible options for writing and composing.

This project will provide my students with clipboards for writing tasks. Markers in both bold and fine tips support my students in K-5. The dry erase pouches and markers allow to reuse papers between classes, allowing my students to compose with a template, but to also reduce our amount of paper waste in the classroom.
