Creating With Cardstock

Help me give my students cardstock for students to create items in our new entrepreneurship classroom.

My Project

Using cardstock with a Cricut machine in the classroom is a fantastic way to teach students design skills, precision crafting, and even business and branding concepts—all while keeping costs manageable. The cardstock will be used to support creativity, hands-on learning, and entrepreneurship.

Cardstock is affordable and versatile which makes it great for prototypes, packaging, greeting cards, 3D models, tags, signage, and more.

Using cardstock teaches students about design principles: typography, layout, negative space, layering. It also supports business learning: students can create mock-ups or real packaging, branding, or paper products to sell.
