Creating With Cardboard

Help me give my students a safe way to create and invent with cardboard.

My Project

My students spend most of their free choice time creating mostly with paper, scissors, tape, and drawing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, however, there are limits as to what they can build. Students can build models, create games, and be more inventive with this cardboard cutting machines.

This project is to provide a safe way to cut cardboard, promote creativity, engineering, and building during science, Lunar New Year, indoor recess and free choice time.

Students will also get an opportunity to collaborate in making something bigger other than just with paper, tape, and crayons.

My students are in a public Cantonese immersion elementary school who come from various economic and racial background throughout the city. All students have their unique way of learning and growing – this project can reach and make learning meaningful for more students.
