Creating Visual Learners

My students need visual posters for the classroom, such as more permanent markers, pencils, and dry erase markers. The classroom library also needs to be expanded with books that include visuals of artists we're currently covering.

My Students

I teach at a low-income/high poverty school where students are faced with many challenges at home as well as at school. Our school is a STEAM (Science, Technology,Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) focus school. We are also a Project Based Learning school, where students are encouraged to learn through trying new things that have real-world application. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom, 100% are free breakfast and lunch with a special after school program that also offers a free dinner. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with a fun, creative and meaningful learning experience.

These kiddos deserve the best & with your help I'd love to be able to give that to them.

My Project

These materials will help make a difference in the lives of my students and improve their school lives by giving them new resources to utilize and look at during our work time and free time. By being able to provide visuals that match the artists we are covering ,the students will be able to make their projects that much more amazing.

The students also need new pencils and permanent markers as we're 1/2 way through the school year and almost 100% out.

These will help with daily creativity and inspiration by allowing the students to get their ideas down on paper.
