Creating Technology Savy Sixth Graders

My 6th grade students need a notebook computer.

FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Preabt's classroom raised $732

This project is fully funded

My 6th students are interested in the latest technology, but do not always have access to it. I teach 6th grade in a high-need community.

During the year, my students work on a science fair project and write a research paper. We share the computer lab at our school with all of the other classes- kindergarten through 8th grade. I would like for my students to have access to a laptop computer in our classroom. I would use computer time as an incentive for good behavior and a way to excite them about working on their projects.

Having a computer in our classroom will give them experience with the latest technology. I know they will enjoy using the computer and this tool will help them with their projects.

Please consider funding this project. There are thirty eager 6th graders who would truly benefit from your generosity!
