Creating Space to Learn

Help me give my students a working space that provides ample space for their varied materials as they work hard to improve their reading!

My Project

My students work hard to learn to read. They arrive at my room prepared and ready to learn. Multi-sensory instruction is very important to their growth as readers thus, children use a variety of materials during our time together. Working with small groups allows me to share a classroom with another campus reading specialist. Maximizing our separate learning space is important to our instruction.

Our students need ample room to utilize their hands on materials during instruction.

I need to be in close proximity to them to monitor their work for corrections. The horse shoe table will fill both needs and will fit nicely in the classroom space.

The additional seating and bean bag refills will be a great addition to our small group reading nook.
