This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are full of potential! As dual-language learners, they are not just learning in two languages, they are learning to navigate two worlds with courage, joy, and endless curiosity. Many of my students come from immigrant families and are building bridges between cultures every single day. They walk into our classroom carrying their dreams, their stories, and the hopes of their families.

But in our classroom, we have NO storage!!

My students sit at shared tables without a space they can call their own. They deserve better!! That’s why I’m reaching out with my first ever request. These three-drawer rolling carts will give my students something so simple yet so powerful, a place to belong, to organize their materials, and to take pride in their learning!

This project is about more than carts. It’s about dignity, ownership, and helping my students see that THEY MATTER. I want them to feel proud of who they are and the beautiful journey they’re on… becoming bilingual, biliterate, and bold.
