Creating Sensory & Adaptive PE Opportunities for Special Needs Students

Help me give my students with special needs in high school access to equipment for PE and sensory strategies in the classroom setting for calming and self regulation.

My Project

My high school students with special needs will benefit from use of new adaptive PE equipment to interact with general education peers in PE classes (for example: lower levels basketball hoop, parachute, weighted balls), as well as afterschool clubs and community activities (bowling ramp, bowling pins and bowling ball).

My high school special needs students need more sensory opportunities for calming and self regulation activities in the special setting classrooms (for example: vibrating exercise board, parachute, connect 4 game and medicine ball).
