This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarteners have come so far this year towards becoming full-blown readers! They have grown in leaps and bounds, and while I hope I have facilitated this I most of it is their hard work.

There is nothing more gratifying to see then young students finally catching on to reading.

My kiddos love their small group centers where they get to have fun and learn important tools that will make them into lifelong readers. They also enjoy our daily read aloud time when they can hear stories they relate to or that might teach them something new. These materials will help finish the year strong and get them ready for more reading in First Grade!
