This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Today a reader, tomorrow a leader." My class is all about teaching children the 7 habits and leadership. I am hoping to inspire them to global learners and leaders.

I teach in Texas at a title one school.

We don't have a lot of money or resources but have been given the chance to share this wonderful leader in me program with our students. I need help to pass this on to our children so that they can give back when they are adults. These kids don't always have the best home life or role models. With these items you will be supporting a school wide effort to create readers and leaders!

My Project

My students will be using these games and books to support them in their effort to be readers and leaders in the community and at home. We will look at these book for examples on how to be more proactive in our lives, begin with the end in mind, and put first things first. The games will reinforce these skills as well helping them make these critical decisions and taking a moment to be proactive instead of reactive. The Cricut will be used by the students to create their leadership projects and beautify their school as part of the leadership program.

This project will support my kids in becoming leaders.

This will make in difference in there life, and there families life. Not only now but in the future as well. These skills are something they will be able to use well into them growing into adults. I am hoping you will help me give our future a head start on the leadership skill they need so that our futures will be led by leaders!
