Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a class of energetic, eager to learn, adorable 5-year-old students. For my class project I am asking for sight word readers, short vowel readers, and word family readers to help my students as they learn how to read.
These resources will help my students learn by giving my young learners a chance to practice matching up letter-sound relationships and build a habit of analyzing the letters and sounds to read unfamiliar words.
These resources will help them build a strong foundation for reading by focusing on phonics skills and decoding strategies. They offer a structured and predictable approach to reading, enabling my students to practice blending sounds and recognizing patterns in words, ultimately leading to improved reading accuracy and confidence.
