Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
To help students honor the important father figures in their lives, we are planning a creative Father’s Day gift-making activity. Each student will decorate a mini canvas using paint pens and paint to create a heartfelt and personalized piece of art. The finished canvas will be packaged in a festive gift bag with a custom label, ready to be taken home and shared.
This hands-on project allows students to express their appreciation while practicing creativity, fine motor skills, and thoughtful communication.
This project gives students a chance to create something meaningful and memorable. These gifts are more than just art—they're heartfelt gestures of appreciation that build emotional connections and boost self-confidence through creativity.
