My Project

The Storyworks 3 magazine offers a collection of various types of literature for my students to discover. Whether it’s an opinion piece to facilitate debate, a play to encourage collaboration, poetry to hone writing skills, or paired fiction and nonfiction works, this magazine exposes students to a wealth of engaging genres!

Creating lifelong readers is a daunting task, but one with the richest of rewards for all.

By utilizing the Storyworks magazine, my students will have access to and own their own collected set of works throughout the year. Experiences with these genres will help create a lifelong love of reading.

Our students are at a variety of reading interests and levels- but each one is uniquely excited to learn! Materials that expose students to a variety of types of engaging texts helps us as teachers to create readers. Our goal: to put high-quality materials in the hands of our students to help them discover a love of reading. The students will also be able keep the magazine to read over and over to develop fluency and accuracy!
