My Project
This grant will fund a diverse, engaging classroom library for second grade students, filled with high-interest books they can read again and again. Repeated reading builds fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension—key components of strong literacy skills.
A well-stocked library encourages independent reading, supports varied reading levels, and fosters a love of books.
By offering students access to a wide range of fiction and nonfiction titles right in the classroom, this project aims to create a literacy-rich environment where all learners thrive. These books will become familiar friends students return to, deepening understanding and confidence with every read. Reading success starts here!
