My Project
My students have some developmental delays and short attention spans. Covid-19 had many of them home-bound with a lot of screen time, as their parents tried to keep them calm and occupied.
These Big Classic Books will hold the children's interest and increase their attention spans, due to their size and bright colors. After I read to them, I will increase their oral language and cognitive skills by asking them questions and having them respond.
The hands-on learning activities will help them increase their understanding of the alphabet.
This classroom project was brought to life by Arizona Department of Education.
