Creating Good Mental Health and Life Skills in CLS
Help me give my students activities to use their fine motor skills during centers. The crochet sets will increase their hand-eye coordination. Creating helps good mental health. Learning to tell time is necessary in our CLS class.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Telling time and learning to write their own name are goals for my lower-functioning students. Our students range in age from 14-22 years old. The students all have intellectual disabilities and they are learning life skills such as cooking, cleaning, self-care, bill paying, job skills, and how to deal with the stressors of life. The activities included in this project will help the students maintain and work on their mental health. The students will play games, do artwork, and crochet to create things. The students can then transfer these skills to their lives outside of school.
