My Project

My students are participating in Genius Hour! This allows them to follow passion projects throughout the school day to capitalize on their excitement about learning. After researching using ebooks, interviews, videos, books, encyclopedias, and virtual field trips, the students will take their knowledge and create a project. Help me get amazing supplies for them to use! Students have chosen anything from fashion design to bridge engineering as their focus. By allowing them to follow their passions, they are learning to be independent thinkers, while gaining crucial research, writing, reading, and critical thinking skills.

From Volcanoes to architecture, to fossils, and even guinea pigs - my students have selected the most fascinating topics.

Help me bring them to life with project supplies tailored to their interests! We need open ended ways to showcase all they will learn! I’ve picked out some blank books and trifold boards that will be awesome presentation options with markers and paper to make them pop! I’ve found this innovative use of instructional time helps students grow in all subject areas, but also helps them fall in love with learning!
