Help me give my students the opportunity to apply anatomy and medical terminology in real-life situations by contributing to our classroom's supply of everyday school essentials.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting our Pre-Nursing students. Through the CNA program offered by our county-wide high school cooperative learning center, students receive college credits and, after passing their state licensing exam in the spring, are workforce-ready as Certified Nursing Assistants.
By providing our students with these basic classroom supplies, we will be creating a timeline covering historical events in medical and nursing history.
They will also be given the opportunity to create colorful anatomy drawings and diagrams to help them better understand how the human body functions. The students in our program are highly driven with aspirations of becoming nurses and physicians. Many of our students are first-generation college students. My students need color pencils, markers, dry-erase markers, and stencils.
