Creating Fun, Efficient and Memorable Recorded School Announcements!

Help me give my students materials and equipment to improve our recorded, morning announcements as well as other duties and responsibilities that affect our whole school.

My Students

Our school sits in the middle of a unique, rural city and has a very neat mixture of students. We are a Title I school where many of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Our school also services an Air Force base and is a government relocation site for Marshallese families due to post-war nuclear testing, which creates a special challenges and opportunities.

This project will benefit the entire school by improving our recorded, morning announcements which in turn increases communication and the sharing of joys and concerns.

We also have many active school groups that travel or who host organizations and events such as service projects and fund-raisers. Having safe and reliable equipment and advertising materials to make such events more enjoyable and profitable is a huge help for teachers and sponsors.

My Project

Our Leadership Class was tasked with creating recorded announcements for the school last year. We have a recording studio and an editing room. We have learned a lot about what it takes to fulfill this task well and hope to continue to improve.

Recorded morning announcements take a lot of teamwork and planning and we have realized how to best organize ourselves to be more efficient and creative.

But to do so takes supplies and materials. We feel the supplies listed here will help us to create and share the best morning announcements our schools has been privileged to experience!
