This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our public schools serves low economic students in four distinct communities in East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights. Our four schools provide families a diverse school setting with a focus on hands on activities that emphasize parent involvement and PBIS rewards through student engagement. By contributing to this campaign you are committing to supporting our students who exhibit outstanding character both in and out of the classroom. Data shows that rewarding student behavior drives the development of a positive school community. Your contribution will go toward snacks and small treats that students can take home or enjoy during lunch or snack time. By reinforcing positive behavior students learn what is expected of them as they interact with teachers and their peers.
