This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal with this project is for younger Elementary age students to have fun with creating rhythms with hand held instruments. Some of our instruments are broken or we do not have enough to go around. While students are great at sharing, how fun would it be for each to have their own so they can play together to a song or rhythms.

Music Class is fun as students learn early at the age of 4 thru 6 years old to feel and read rhythms as they move to the beat.

We are a school of grades Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade. It is a joy to develop an interest for young students through instruments and singing. As our students have the fun of playing their own instrument, more fun and creativity happens throughout their Elementary years.

We are going to love smaller instruments for them to hold and move to.
