This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so excited to work with my Pre-K students, who are curious, imaginative, and wonder about the world around them. They are at an age where the basis for a love of reading and learning develops, and it is lovely to see their eyes light up when they discover new stories. With the books I am requesting, we can create a rich library center offering diverse, colorful, engaging stories and concepts to nurture their early literacy skills. These books will introduce them to new ideas and vocabulary and encourage their social and emotional growth through relatable characters and themes. I aim to create a space where every child can find a book that sparks their imagination and curiosity, laying the groundwork for a lifetime love of reading. My students are unique because they are eager to explore the world in their unique ways, and with the right resources, they can begin to see themselves as lifelong learners. Your support will help bring that vision to life!
