Creating Crafty Critters! Part 2

My Students

This little crew is always ready and willing to go above and beyond, no matter what the task. They love to have fun, but they also love to learn. That is what I love about them. They never let anything stand in their way, not even the fact that more than three-fourths of our school population is considered below the poverty level. They are so determined to prosper and grow.

Their little brains are like little sponges that soak up anything and everything I can throw their way.

The more I throw the more they long for. It's amazing that their little heads can hold so much information yet yearn for more.

My Project

Learning can be such a fun, hands-on experience...if we have the right tools. Part, but not all, of those tools include crafting materials in a kindergarten classroom, such as paper plates, toothpicks, paper bags, and cups. With crafting materials such as these we can bring our learning to life. Paper plates can be used for creating various animals or circle charts, toothpicks can be used to create shapes, paper bags can be used to make puppets, cups can be used to hold glue or small animals for observing, and the list goes on.

Kindergarten is a time of learning, but also a time for fun, what better way to do that than to bring our learning to life through hands-on experiences.
