Creating Community while Serving our Community

Help me give my students supplies for the Connecting Communities Cart to serve our club, school, and local community.

My Project

Many of my students have jobs that require them to miss out on extracurricular activities or community service opportunities. With the help of our school librarian and Key Club members, we want to allow them to meet volunteer requirements for scholarships and college requirements throughout the school day.

Students may visit the library before, during, or after school to participate in a monthly project.

Our students will use the art supplies to make cards for nursing home residents and veterans, create floral bouquets for Meals on Wheels recipients, color-in bookmarks for elementary students, and many other projects that students suggest. These supplies will serve our school and our general community as well.
