Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! They are very creative and hardworking 3rd graders. They are also kids who love to have fun while learning. While working hard, they are also using supplies that are necessary to their learning environment.

Third graders have a unique way of successfully learning new concepts.

A number of my students have a hard time sitting in traditional desks all day long. They also have a variety of individual learning styles. They need meaningful, as well as, fun learning materials and supplies for their classroom.

Donations from Donors Choose allow me to be able to provide essential learning materials needed in order to have a successful learning environment for all of my students each year. Without these donations, I would not be able to provide these materials.

My Project

The basic supplies will be packaged and sent home, in the event of students having to learn from home. These supplies include crayons, scissors, and on-level library books that can all be sent home if needed.

The privacy boards and flexible seating options will allow for students to social distance while learning in the classroom setting.

Having students spaced apart throughout the room allows for safer learning to continue.

COVID-19 has definitely changed the way my classroom has worked the past 2 years. These materials will allow me to provide a safer environment for my students.
