This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Pre-K 3 students are full of excitement, enthusiasm and energy! Each one of my students is different and yet they have a lot in common with each other. They all have their unique, individual personalities and at the same time enjoy each other's company while they learn together through play.

My students are determined to learn everything, grow as individuals, and explore the wonderful world around them.

No matter how energetic they are, they are always ready to learn new things and become extremely proud when they are able to reach or accomplish a goal! No matter how difficult something may seem, they always persevere!

My Project

The Cricut Heat Press and tools will help motivate my students and provide them the opportunity to explore, create and engage in their learning. My students are mostly 3 years old and are inspired by the world around them.

Our classroom is their world and having the Heat Press will help us create a classroom community whether our students are face to face or virtual.

A classroom environment impacts a students learning experience. This addition to our classroom will help create a positive impact and learning environment in which all students will feel welcomed. One way we will use the Heat Press will be to create personalized chair pockets for each students seating area, gifts, and shirts throughout the year. During this time it is important to create an environment at school where our students feel a sense of belonging even though they are social distancing and unable to fully interact with each other. For my students this is their first experience with school and I want to help them embrace their love of learning as best as I can. The materials in this project will be used to motivate my students to continue learning and growing through this difficult time. My students will also learn that we can accomplish anything and together everything is possible!
