it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The children are our future. My Pre-K students have the world in front of them. Please help me lead them to experience the joy of discovery.

I have 20 students in a very small classroom in an old school.
One hundred percent of my class qualify as Title 1 students. Most of these students get uniforms from the school. My classroom is divided into workstations (centers) where the students go everyday. Several of my students are already falling behind their classmates. I would love to be able to improve my math and especially science areas since these are the core areas where building a strong foundation is of vital importance. Science is the school-wide focus for our school this year so this is the primary area I want to improve. Thank you for your consideration.
My Project
I want to inspire my students with a love of learning that will carry them through their entire life. I have requested various science and math equipment such as ant and ladybug kits, x-rays, and science discovery kits, to give my students the chance to experience hands-on learning from across the spectrum in the sciences and mathematics. These materials will be used in both my science and math centers. I hope that by using the various science and math materials I have requested I will help my students create an interest in science and math that will carry them through the years so that they will always have a love of discovery and wonder.
I want to lead the way for my students to experience the wonder of discovering how the world works.
