My Students
I have very inquisitive students. They want to know more. For years, due to their socioeconomic situation, they have not had access to technology nor been challenged to find out more about the world around them beyond the basics.
Once my students find out they have no limitations other than what they place on themselves, they are hungry to learn and explore.
We've seen amazing growth in my students because they have been given access to current technology. They invent new ways to use the tech that were never intended and create new applications.
My Project
Our students have gotten very good at taking ideas and drawings and creating 3D printed models. Many clubs and groups in school have various competitions and exhibitions. We want to create awards for these groups and need the supplies to do so.
The students have upgraded the printer and the software to allow for fine detail .1 mm printing.
The students lack the type of printing filament to take this next step in creating final projects.
Local business that employ students to create models on corporate 3D printers are looking for students with experience in producing fine quality finished products. You will be enabling my students to gain experience, confidence and preparation for college and career.
