My Project

In an English Language Arts classroom, organization and engagement are essential to helping students grow as confident readers, writers, and thinkers. My middle school students are learning how to manage materials independently, participate in discussions, and express their ideas in writing. The resources in this project will help create a structured, interactive, and supportive ELA environment where all students can succeed.

The classroom turn-in trays, book baskets, magnetic labels, and accordion file organizer will help establish clear routines for reading and writing assignments.

When students know exactly where to find mentor texts, submit essays, and store drafts or feedback, they can focus more on their learning and less on logistics. These systems promote responsibility and help students build the organizational skills they need for long-term academic success.

The dry erase answer paddles will play a key role in increasing student engagement during ELA instruction. These tools allow every student to participate during reading checks, vocabulary practice, grammar review, and comprehension questions. Instead of only a few students raising their hands, all learners can share their thinking at the same time, making lessons more interactive and giving me immediate insight into student understanding.

The clear book pouches will help protect classroom novels, independent reading books, and literacy materials. By keeping texts organized and labeled, students can easily access their books and take better care of shared resources, ensuring they remain available for future classes.
