Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students would benefit greatly from an organizer cart, laminator, and zone regulating tools in our classroom. The organization supplies will allow my students to have the clean and organized learning environment they deserve. The laminator will be used to display students' work and art around the classroom. The zone regulating supplies will provide my students with a calm space in the classroom and support social and emotional learning.

These resources will allow my students to have a meaningful learning experience when they step into my classroom.

The majority of the students at our school come from low-income households where they may not have the needed resources to support their learning, I don't want this to be a barrier they face while at school. These students have faced the challenges that come with learning while in a pandemic and I want to provide them a clean, comfortable, and safe space where they can come to learn and decompress. By funding this project you are allowing me to create an organized classroom that provides students with the skills and tools to regulate their emotions.
