Creating an Individualized Environment With Flexible Seating, and an iPad!

Help me give my students a chance to use flexible seating, while using the iPad to enhance their skills. Also book storage is helpful when I have various grade levels in one classroom.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have students that come for extra support thoughout the day. Sometimes a student may finish early and I would like to offer them some fun, educational games on the iPad while they wait for the others to finish. This will allow either an individual student, or a small group, to work on extra enhancements with the iPad, while the other students finish their original task.

Giving differentiated instruction to my special needs students, while offering flexible seating, will keep them engaged and involved during an activity.

Having technology helps break up the lesson into more bite sized chunks, and gives students the opportunity to work on problems using a different format. Repetition is key in helping these students retain what they have been taught.
