Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students' passion, dedication, and cultural pride as they bring the beauty of Folklorico dance to life. They work tirelessly to perfect their performances, embracing tradition while expressing themselves creatively. Most importantly, my classroom is a place of inclusion, where every student—regardless of ability or background—has the opportunity to participate, create, and shine.
A Cricut Joy and accessories will allow my students to design and personalize props, costumes, and classroom materials, ensuring that all students, including those with special needs, can contribute in meaningful ways.
With this tool, they can create custom decorations, performance accessories, and educational visuals, helping them develop hands-on skills in design, organization, and teamwork. This project will make learning more engaging, interactive, and inspiring, fostering creativity, collaboration, and a sense of belonging for every student as they take ownership of their artistic contributions.
