My Project

As a 4th math and science teacher, my classes are full of scholars with curious minds and positive attitudes. They are frequently active and engaged in learning as they sit, stand, and move about the classroom.

The six wobble stools will give my scholars a flexible seating option for subtle movement while staying seated.

For students with ADHD or sensory processing sensitivities, the ability to make small movements without leaving their seat can aid in self-regulation and sustained attention.

Unlike traditional chairs, wobble stools have a rounded or slightly unstable base. This encourages students to actively engage their core muscles to maintain balance and an upright posture. For sensory seekers, wobble stools offer a way to obtain the movement they need in a controlled and appropriate manner within the classroom. By allowing for movement, these stools can increase comfort and reduce restlessness, making it easier for students to remain seated for longer periods when necessary.
