This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hi everyone! I am a first year teacher, looking to create a safe and welcoming classroom for my 5th grade students. These items will benefit my students as they will serve as incentives and create a positive classroom environment. Snacks are needed to keep bellies full and learning on point.

Additionally, the flex seating on this list will be incorporated into the Calm/Reading Corner of my classroom and allow the students to engage with flexible seating and a safe space to regulate their emotions.

Finally, the feelings chart visual aid can be extremely beneficial and can help make the space more comforting.
