This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for taking the time to read about this project. My name is Mr. Casey and I am a second-year Special Education teacher. I have created this project to help my current and future students have a classroom that encourages them to use dynamic learning. In my classroom, we focus on what the student can do and strengthen it. Each student will have the opportunity to get hands-on visual learning through new tools and technology that are available to them. This new fun way of learning gives the student an exciting way to build their schools and to build connections with their peers. With your generous donations, I will be able to give them just that. As I journey through my career as a special education teacher, I will devote my time and energy to helping the students achieve their goals. The tablet will the students to interact with new-aged learning techniques that I have learned at various professional development seminars. The tablet will also provide students who are not mobile with new ways to participate in lessons and assignments. The students will love to have a rug and bean bag for the sensory and calm corner as well as to add to the token system. Along with the token system the selected snacks will be used as rewards and incentives for participation in classroom activities. Thank you again for reading this and for future donations.
