This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am using these sensory tools to help support students with emotional needs and teaching them coping skills and cooperation. I work in a classroom where students have high emotional regulation needs, and am working with them on getting integrated back in to their Gen Ed environment. I will be teaching these students how to use these tools to regulate themselves in times of need. I will then help the kids learn how to use these tools independently to help them learn how to regulate through their routines on a daily basis so they can integrate back in to their general education setting
