My Students
My classroom is a place of exploration and discovery of the world around us! These first graders all come with their own personalities and backgrounds and one of the best ways we can learn is through collaboration and positive communication.
Oh the places we will go!
Throughout the year my students will problem-solve in the land of math, explore our amazing world through science, write about our opinions and the facts we have learned, and read every minute that we can! My students constantly strive to absorb as much information as possible and they learn best in a classroom that provides them with the tools they may need to continue exploring.
My Project
This year our goal is allow students to experience a traditional classroom environment, while also staying safe. This means that students need their own book bags to "check out" books from our classroom library, and book bins to "check in" books. Additional items, such as the pocket chart, will provide our classroom with more organization. While the binder rings and whiteboard erasers will make sure each student has their own set of materials and does not have to share with others.
This school year may look different, but with your help, our classroom will safer for everyone.
