Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, students are not just learning academics—they’re learning how to navigate big emotions and build lifelong social-emotional skills. I have students with high needs and would love to support them. To support their well-being, I’m creating a Regulation Station: a calm, welcoming space where students can take a break, practice self-regulation, and return to learning with a clearer mind. This project will fund calming tools, sensory supports, and mindfulness materials to help students feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive. Your support will directly impact their ability to manage stress, focus on learning, and grow as whole individuals.
