Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach math at AJMS. I really enjoy creating a classroom environment that is as inviting and stress free as possible. Many students' favorite subject is not math (unfortunately), but I love showing them that math does not always have to be scary and ominous. In my classroom, I try my best to help my students navigate the choppy waters that is Algebra 1 with a welcoming learning environment.
Please help me in creating a safe space for my students.
I am requesting a Bose speaker. I play music of all genres for my students so that they may work and learn in a soothing and positive atmosphere. Playing music in my classroom allows students to stay focused and helps to reduce stress for my students (and myself).
