Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am switching from teaching middle school to elementary school. The classroom essentials I had for my middle schoolers often are not needed by elementary students. They have their own needs to succeed within the classroom. I am requesting essentials such as pencils, pens, and papers to make sure that all students that enter my classroom have the necessary tools to excel.
Students shouldn't have to worry about having the basic essentials needed to complete classroom work and instead should be able to just focus on their education.
I have also included some games for those rainy days when we are stuck inside for recess.
Finally, with switching to a new grade level and school, I need to revamp curriculum that I have available to me to help students with their writing skills, math, science, social studies, and reading/language arts skills.
