My Students

I teach a very enthusiastic bunch of third graders who absolutely love to dance, sing, move, and play while they learn. They are active and excited to be in school. They love participating in activities that involve moving around and collaborating with their peers. I love the high energy that my students bring to my classroom every day.

My Project

I would love to provide my very active students with some hands-on materials and games so they will be able to explore and learn the science, math, and literacy concepts they are learning throughout the year in a variety of ways. These materials will reinforce concepts we are learning as well as help make their learning experience exciting and enjoyable. By using these materials they will not only be working on educational skills, but also communication and problem-solving skills. Students will be able to play most of these games at their skill level with the opportunity to learn and develop more complex skills.

My student abilities will improve due to the engaging hands-on nature of these materials.

The students will be actively involved in their learning which will help strengthen the concepts we are learning and act as a great review of concepts we have already learned. Hopefully, this will enhance their scores in common assessments and give them each the opportunity to take control of their learning.
