This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Over the past two years, our school has been growing our library media center and program. Our students are some of the most innovative, curious, and eager learners I have ever had the honor of teaching. I would love to continue expanding the "media" within this library media center.
As a teacher in our library, the heart of our school, I would love to offer my students a place to sit and use previously purchased materials to create origami, melty beads, and anything else they can imagine.
I have already gathered a few of the craft materials needed. This table and benches would offer the first space in this developing Make and Take Area.
