My Project

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this post! I am seeking your support to provide my students with a 3D printer for our school’s maker space. My goal with this innovative tool is empower students to unleash their creativity, transform ideas into tangible objects, and deepen their understanding of design and engineering principles. Having a "Maker Space" will provide students with the opportunity to create what they imagine!

I am a Special Education Teacher and our school has an inclusive model where students with mild to moderate disabilities are integrated into the general education classrooms.

I co-teach with ELA and Math teachers! Many of my students come from rough neighborhoods in Los Angeles, where access to resources and opportunities can be limited. Despite these obstacles, they are incredibly talented, resilient, and eager to learn. A 3D printer would give them the chance to explore cutting-edge technology, develop critical skills, and envision brighter futures for themselves.
