This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy engaging in stories during our speech sessions, which help improve their overall literacy.
Adding these beloved, classic books to our speech room collection will bring so much joy to my students, as these engaging stories will not only captivate their imaginations but also provide endless opportunities to support their growth.
With these books, I can create targeted book companions to help my students work on their speech goals while improving their reading comprehension, fluency, and decoding skills. Your support will make a meaningful difference in their learning journey.
It is a personal goal of mine to spark a love for reading that will last a lifetime for my students.
