Creating A Library For 21st Century Learners

Help me give my students the tools they need for success. A portable whiteboard and green screen equipment will allow students to collaborate to create meaningful projects.

My Students

My students are special because they come from a variety of backgrounds. Many of the students in my district are migrant students, come from low-income families, or they are English language learners. In fact, many of my students fall into several of those categories. However, these students have worked hard to overcome the many struggles that life has thrown at them, and they are determined to be successful in life. From the gym to the classroom, these students strive to be the best that they can be.

My students inspire me and encourage me to give my best effort each and every day.

They love to create and explore through hands-on activities, and I would love to provide them with the tools they need to grow.

My Project

These tools will help enhance the experience my students undergo when they visit the Library Media Center.

My goal is to create an environment which fosters creativity and learning.

I want students to utilize the Library Media Center in many different ways. It is my hope that students will begin to think of the library as an enjoyable place where they can create and explore their interests.

By providing students with a variety of tools to enhance the learning process, I will be opening the doors for students to discover their strengths and interests beyond the classroom. Students will be able to use both the rolling white board and the green screen equipment to brainstorm and bring projects to life. Teachers in the building will also be able to use these items as they need them.
